Check-lists don't mess with the dog

A word of warning about mirroring or changing these files. I consider the checklist as a work in progress and I ask that for all files present here you ask before mirroring them or changing them. Changing for you own use is of course welcome but distributing your changes are another story. Thank you for respecting my ongoing work for F4 for the latest 6 years.

1: Cockpit checks - F16 December 2008

Cockpit Checklists Volume - version 0805

This volume is meant separetely because it's normally done before the pilot do anything else (may even be done before seating on the Aces2) Nevertheless, the main volume depends on the switches being placed as checked in this smaller volume, so don't overlook it, it is important. It gets all its value for cockpitbuilders of course, it helps to set switches correctly before launching the sim. It is now available in two format: A5 and 13x21cm which is the realsize of checklists.

This volume is compatible to all F4 versions but specifically made for OF based versions. Some items are version dependant and might not be active according to the cockpit you use.

Balkan ONC kneemap

uploaded July 18th, 2009

2048x2048

New Balkan map for the Balkan theater.
No Balkan install come with this map installed, so you will have to install it manually.
As with all my ONC maps, you can use it as the 2D cockpit kneemap, the UI map or a paper map.
The kneemap and the paper map have all features, the UI conversion lacks the airbases information since they are displayed by Falcon UI.

This map may be used in any version of falcon (although only tested with OF) as long as you replace your stations.dat file with the one I provide so the navigation data match. Please note that only OF supports specific tower & ILS frequencies.

Korea ONC kneemap

uploaded January 6th , 2009

2048x2048

Here's a new Korea kneemap based on a real ONC chart. It features the normal stuff as always: Airbase, tacan, UHF tower, ILS freq,... + flying area (MOA, restricted, prohibited airspace, ...) all those corresponds to the flying areas you see on the Falcon approach charts.

The file is 72x72cm (28.3 x 28.3 in) realsize.
It can be used in many ways (each image are different pending it's use)

  • 2D cockpit kneemap (download kneemap.gif and copy into your campaign\save folder and any korea folder so the kneemap is also available during campaigns)
  • A new UI map (download campmap.zip, extract to a temp folder, rename your campmap.idx & campmap.rsc file in the art\resource folder and copy the new ones in.
  • A regular paper map. download paper_map.zip and go to your local copy service. Ask for a realsize print or minimum 60x60cm. Use a rather good quality paper. Then pin the map next to your flying computer.
